Environmental Wellness
Environmental Wellness is being aware of, caring about, and nurturing the external world. It involves accepting responsibility for maintaining natural resources and acting as stewards of the environment.
Why is Environmental Wellness Important?
Environmental Wellness encourages individuals to respect the environment. Everyone should be able to enjoy clean air, adequate and pure water, nourishing food, and effective shelter.
Examples of Environmental Wellness:
- Access and/or donate to the Full Circle food pantry
- Commuter Menu
- Bike Trails
- Practice sustainability
- Recycle
- Spend time outdoors
- Support the University of Arkansas Tobacco-Free policy
- Take environmental health courses
- Clean up litter
