New benefits-eligible employees of the University of Arkansas have 31 days from their benefits-eligible appointment dates to enroll in their retirement and insurance benefits. Your insurance benefits and voluntary retirement contributions will be effective the first day of the following month following the date HR receives all of your completed enrollment forms. All appointed (non-student) employees working 50% time or greater are eligible for most benefits.
