Career Service Recognition Payments

(Arkansas Code Ann. §21-5-106)

If you are employed in a full-time (100%) appointed position that is not defined as faculty (see Section 2.1 for definitions), you will become eligible for career service recognition payments when you have completed 10 or more years of service in a full-time appointed position or positions at the university. If you have worked for another state agency or state-supported institution of higher education in an eligible position, you will be given credit for your years of full-time service. Proof of prior service is required.

Your career service payment will be included in your paycheck the month your career service eligibility date occurs.  Career Service Recognition Payments are subject to retirement contribution deductions, state, and federal taxes.

15 through 19 years of state service

20 through 24 years of state service

$1200

25 or more years of state service

$1500
