You will receive additional instructions in your appointment confirmation email so please read it carefully.
  2. UARK Email

  3. Onboarding Tasks

Complete onboarding tasks and benefits enrollment in Workday.
    1. Register to attend a  Benefits Orientation to learn about benefit options.
    2. For questions regarding payroll, contact  payroll services.
  4. Orientation

Attend an orientation session during your first month.
    1. Staff are expected to register and attend New Employee Orientation with Human Resources.
    2. Faculty are asked to attend New Faculty Orientation which is typically held the Tuesday before the first day of classes in August. New faculty should contact the Teaching and Faculty Support Center for details at tfsc@uark.edu or 479-575-3222.

Complete all necessary training. All U of A Fayetteville employees will have required trainings, but you also may have training that is department or position specific. UA System trainings that are required by policy, for both employees and managers, are available through Workday Learning. To be eligible for salary increases, these required trainings must be completed by each year.

Obtain a campus ID through the Razorback Card Office located in the Arkansas Union. A manager will need to fill out an authorization form prior to your visit.
  7. Parking Permits

Parking permits are required to park on campus at all times. Make sure to obtain one prior to your first day through the parking portal.
  8. Nonresident Information

Non-residents/foreign nationals should meet with the NRA Tax Coordinator to avoid incorrect taxation of your payments from the university.
