Mandatory Employee Training

UA Systemwide Policy and Procedure 450.1 mandates all employees regularly complete training as a minimum job expectation and a requirement for eligibility on any salary increases for the following year.  Training requirements vary, with some trainings required annually and others every three years. The Office of Human Resources coordinates the administration and compliance reporting related to these trainings. All trainings are assigned and are available through Workday.

Employees are required to be up to date on their training requirements as of December 31 each year. New Employee have 30 days from their date of hire to complete their required trainings and then will follow the traditional schedule in subsequent years.

Hourly Adjunct Faculty

Ineligible for any compensation increase beyond the prior fiscal year’s rate

Graduate Assistants

Ineligible for any increases, including COLA or any other compensation adjustment except to increase the Graduate Assistant to the minimum base wage rate set by the Graduate School
