Research Job Subfamilies

Responsible for research study design, methodology and data modeling to support reaching institutional research goals.

A function that supports laboratory or field research by setting up and conducting experiments in lab or field settings. Develops, adapts, and builds equipment, procedures, and techniques to fit specific experiment requirements. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment, instruments, and apparatuses.

A non-faculty function that provides effort in support of research activity; including operationalizing research protocols, gathering data and providing analysis.​ Designs, organizes, manages and carries out research. Analyzes research hypothesis using controlled investigations, experiments and/or trials.

Manages and administers research programs and centers. Represents the institution in working with funding agencies, and developing financial resources and programs. Collaborates with faculty and staff members on developing and implementing research programs and agenda.
