Institutional Advancement and Development Job Subfamilies

Manages and analyzes the database that supports the advancement efforts of the university. Provide data needed to inform organizational strategies including change management and personnel, oversight and conducting of organizational operations; identify prospects; and steward the university's stakeholders and donors. Manages gift processing and receipting in compliance with federal, state, and UA Foundation requirements.

Builds and maintains relationships with alumni; manages financials and compliance as an interdependent department with a separate nonprofit 501(c)3. Supports alumni records for the advancement database; responds to various alumni requests; develops, conducts, and promotes alumni programs and services, building a donor pipeline through outreach, communication, and membership.

Designs, develops, delivers and administers efforts related to the establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships with various external partners and affiliates to support the University's mission and initiatives.

Manages all donor relationships including development events in support of achieving institutional development goals.

Expand economic opportunity and prosperity in Arkansas through talent development, the deployment of innovative research and technologies, community engagement, and place-making strategies.

Represents the institution to all levels of government as well as to regulatory, community, or other agency representatives. Monitors current political, regulatory, and legal trends; develops relationships.
