POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Title: Graduate Student Assistantship
Location: Department of Poultry Science, Center of Excellence for Poultry Science, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR 72701
Responsibilities: Research will be conducted in the general area of cell and mitochondrial physiology. The research will be in the general area of either probiotics or directed towards understanding the cellular basis of feed efficiency.
Qualifications: Student should have an undergraduate degree in Poultry or Animal Science, or Biological Sciences; M.S. preferred. A GRE is required for admittance to the Graduate School (University of Arkansas) and to obtain a graduate student stipend. Techniques that will be used in the studies include western and northern analysis, cell culture, biochemical assays.
