Dual Career Employment Network
Assisting Dual Career Families Since 1993
Overview
The Dual Career Employment Network (DCEN) is a free resource and referral service
designed to be responsive to the employment needs of dual-career families relocating
to Northwest Arkansas.
Purpose
The DCEN has a two-fold purpose:
- Inform the community of the availability of talented professionals.
- Inform
the relocating partners of employment resources and opportunities.
Eligibility
Partners of employees recently relocated or candidates being actively recruited by
participating companies and organizations may access the services of the DCEN for
up to one year.
Network of Participating
Companies and Organizations
Over 100 employers in Northwest Arkansas comprise the DCEN network. A company or
organization that has at least one membership with the NOARK Human Resources Association
is automatically included in the network.
Limitations
The Dual Career Employment Network will make every effort to provide available employment
information to individuals who qualify for assistance. However, the DCEN does not
guarantee employment for partners of new personnel. Relocating partners must have
legal authorization to work in the United States.
Sponsors
The DCEN is co-sponsored by the University of Arkansas and NOARK Human Resources
Association, the Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management.
