DCEN Client Profiles

The Dual Career Employment Network (DCEN) is a free recruitment source for staffing needs. There are no contracts, fees or relocation costs involved in hiring individuals referred to the DCEN.

The individuals listed on this page are family members of individuals who have relocated to Northwest Arkansas to work for employers participating in the DCEN. Each person is currently seeking employment opportunities in our area and has legal authorization to work in the United States. They are ready to get to work!

She has also acted as a Spanish translator as a medical billing specialist and can continue this skill in any field. Coby Davis

Coby has a passion for enhancing and building education.  He currently works as Assistant Professor of Education at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN where he  teaches graduate and undergraduate education courses.  Coby's experience ranges from classroom teaching to adult education and learning.  He routinely participates in conferences and facilitates discussions focused on enhanced learning and leadership development.  Coby is relocating to the Fayetteville area in June and is actively seeking employment opportunities in both higher education and corporate training sectors.

Kenneth Patterson

Ken has directed international development projects in Europe, Asia, and Africa for over 13 years. He has a consistent record for exceeding project objectives within budget and has the proven capacity for effective strategic planning, proposal development, administrative and financial oversight, and reporting. The success of his projects is due in large part to his ability to build strong working relationships with implementing partners and major sponsors including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the US State Department, various United Nations agencies, and private corporations.  Ken has recently relocated to Fayetteville and is seeking a position in project management or development.

Alan Petersen

Alan Petersen has over twenty years of experience in higher education teaching art history and studio art courses. He also has over six years experience as a curator of visual arts at the Museum of Northern Arizona. He is looking for a position in the arts that could include education, curatorial and exhibition development, public programs or any combination of these facets of arts programming. Alan is very organized, energetic, and self-motivated and has the ability to move projects along to completion. His strengths include the ability to work a broad range of people, great communications and public speaking skills, and dedication to sharing the arts with students and the public. Nikola Radan

Nikola is an award-winning Boston based flutist, composer, producer and music educator. He studied, graduated and earned his Master's Degree at the University of Music Arts in Belgrade. Nikola has successfully engaged in developing programs and curriculums for various schools in the United States. He was the founder of the chamber orchestra and choir at the Kindermusik Academy in south New Jersey. At this same institution, he established an advanced music theory program under the supervision of the Royal School of Music in London. He successfully shaped and modeled his own program for early childhood music appreciation for children between 15 months and 6-year old toddlers in English and in some English-Spanish bilingual schools. He has also established, designed and developed his own methodology for teaching early childhood piano lessons for children between 4 and 6 years old. As a result of these classes he will publish this year his own new series of books on teaching piano to young children. Nikola is currently teaching at the South Shore Charter Public School in Norwell, MA; The Community Music Center of Boston in Boston, MA; and Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA.

Lane Schmidt

Lane is currently responsible for the insurance reimbursement of military patients and their dependents at a major academic medical center.  He has experience in design, office administration, and healthcare finance. Gabrielle Siganoc
